The new LED variable traffic sign from horizont combines tried-and-tested features with innovative improvements.
The traffic information system can be used in the raised position on all standard roof racks with square tubes at speeds of up to 130 km/h. Emergency vehicles therefore no longer need to brake sharply when deploying the system whilst travelling at high speed to the scene of an incident. The overall design has been streamlined; among other things, a lighter motor with a gas spring is used. When folded, wind deflectors ensure better aerodynamics and thus a reduction in wind noise. The traffic information system is controlled as before via a robust tablet remote control, can display all standard traffic signs and render 16.7 million colours, with each pixel being freely programmable.
