The foil dimensions of the Leitboy III from horizont are 50% of a standard beacon. The pronounced protective edge on the film of horizont Leitboys reduces damage to the film to a minimum.
A flat foil surface achieves the best retroreflective values and ensures optimum visibility by day and night.
The Leitboy III has been tested by the BASt with the Horizont guide rail.
Two guide grooves and locking lugs in the guide barrier’s insertion mechanism secure the Leitboy firmly in position. It does not come loose if driven over directly by a vehicle (see BASt test report), and rights itself automatically thanks to its flexible rubber base. The full warning effect and traffic guidance are maintained.
