The Leitboy III from horizont covers 50% of the reflective surface area of a standard beacon. The pronounced protective edge on the film of horizont Leitboys reduces damage to the film to a minimum. A flat film surface achieves the best retroreflective values and ensures optimum visibility by day and by night.
The Leitboy III has been tested by the BASt in conjunction with the horizont guide kerb.
Two guide grooves and locking lugs in the guide barrier’s insertion mechanism secure the Leitboy firmly in position. It does not come loose if driven over directly by a vehicle (see BASt test report), and rights itself automatically thanks to its flexible rubber base. The full warning effect and traffic guidance are maintained.
